WESTERN SUBURBS DISTRICT

The District was formed in 1980 by Taxi Brian who was from the Melton group & became the District’s first DCM. The District extends from Baccus Marsh to Footscray & south taking in the Werribee Groups. Apart from a couple of slumps during this time, the District has always been  active in service .

*At present a newsletter for monthly distribution is being developed and any Public Information tips, News and Events etc for inclusion as well as  anyone who would like to subscribe to the news letter and recieve regular updates, interest and submissions can be emailed to:  aanationalpi@gmail.com

The District’s activities are as follows:
Coordinate the Roster for members to visit Western Detox Unit on Monday evenings, currently some 20 members plus participating.
Escort Detox Clients to Western Hospital AA Meeting
Provide AA Meeting books to Westad

Supply Big Books to School Libraries
